4L60E stripped forward clutches

Post by dysart22 » Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:00 am

I have always thought that the teeth on the forward clutches stripped because the input sprage wasn’t holding good. I took one apart yesterday and the sprage and race looked great. Is there another cause for the frictions to strip the teeth?
Thanks
