got 56 chev cast iron p/g leaks dang near every where ,resealed after little leaks again mainly sitting- try flat fileing any suggestion?

Quite obvious you did not replace all the gaskets and seals.

Spray it down and watch.

You obviously missed something. "O" ring around the pump?

Like I said. Spray it clean and watch.

2 side covers in the front portion.
Side cover on the case.
Front/rear sections.
Extension housing.
Pump "O" ring.
Throttle lever.
Manual lever.
Speedo housing.
Filler tube.
Pump seal.
Convertor "O" ring.

speedo housing can be machined to use 350 type seal
