02 7.3 f250 4r100 temps

so this one came in getting hot customer has a trans temp gauge installed and has been seeing temps of 190 -220 and i has been about 65-70 degrees here drained fluid it was cooked tore it down found nothing major, heated up od clutches but the converter was junk, all back together its running about 165 and i just beat the heck out of it. Question is what is the normal operating range for these units temp wise the thing is lifted, big tires, big turbo, big down pipe all the bolt on diesel stuff you can think of it works great, just courious about the temps

converter will generate the most heat especially being worked hard . 190-220 doesn't seem too bad if it was being worked . the cooler by-pass does like to stick or if it is plastic can also melt . may want to add an additional cooler if he is beating on it

the cooler bypass is bypassed so it runs wide open at 190 that was just granny driving before i went through it i think its good just wanted some feed back
