Hello all,
I have this 2004 ford 6.0L F350 SD Low diode went bad and took a lug out of the case where the opening is, when this happens are you guys replacing the case?

Most of the time the two bottom lugs break off and a new case is required.
A Transgo shift kit has a heavy duty snap ring that helps to prevent his problem.
They also claim that high pressure causes this problem as well and there shift kit addresses
this. You may be able to get away with a heavy duty snap ring depending on which lug
is broken. I have had good success using the transgo shift kit.
