I received a repaired sleeved main case cover (not the tc housing side) and after the case was installed, I couldn't get the reverse idler shaft to line up. Looks like either the main shaft or countershaft bearings where they are sleeved may be off center. Has any one ran into this issue? I did take everything back apart and checked dowel pin holes and cleaned everything and the pin will not slide down, it will slide easily with out the needle bearings. With my eyes it looks like the reverse idler gear is moved slightly out by the mainshaft.
Who do you prefer more on repairing Honda cases, Omega or Slausons?

just curious, I thought the case half bearing bores machined as a matched set?
So take a case half or cover off of one trans and put it on another you can
run into alignment problems?

I have not heard of that, the supplier says the cases are all the same so you can mix and match machined repaired cases with other cases assuming its correct halves type. We have ordered one or the other side for years and never had an issue, our Hondas never come back with issues and we do a lot of them.
