Bob,
The thing with this jeep is after the t case was put in it was about 75% better, the moan was still there but not as bad(it would go away after making about 2 or 3 turns) Then after servcing the diff it good now. I think the diff was an issue but not totally.
( On identifix there was a tip to unplug the tccm after the rebuilt was installed, wonder if that helped too.
Thanks again for the help. Gary

It could be, resetting the TCCM might have helped. Oh well we'll never know but at least it is fix!

Gray I assume that the chatter was gone after replacing t case. The moan was from diff. So it sounds like u were fighting two problems. Happy too hear it worked out and the customer is happy. Thanks for letting us know. Talk to you again Barry

Hey Barry,
Customer is very happy, Im glad we were able to fix it. He had the car at serval places including a jeep dealer and no one could fix it(jeep claims they couldnt get the problem to happen, but when the car was cold it was very noticeable). Take care ,Gary
I feel there were 2 issues there as well.

There has been a TSSB bulletin on this transfer case, when shifting the unit remains in neutral, Chrysler has done
a recall to reset the computer sequences.
